HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Yeah, so today's Halloween and we had mufti day in school just for halloweens. A bunch of people dressed up, I was one of them! Although my um "get-up" was relatively simple.. a bunch of hair clips, paper clips and like two accessories -.- Haha. I came as a rabbit/bunny! :D Complete with a tail and two rabbit ears.

My ears were relatively not as nice. :( They looked a little retarded.
So I told people, I got bitten. HAHA WTF LAME I KNOW. shatup

Tons of people came with outrageous outfits from the other years. In my year though, Ayeshah came as the wife from The Addam's Family and I failed to take a picture with her! Hers was awesome, complete with face paint and everything. And her outfit was so cool also. Damn. I wish I took a picture of it :( Others, Roslee.. came as uh, he's not even sure. But yeah, he had really cool eye makeup and gloves! Adam came as Harry Potter :P, Danny came as a warlock.. although he did look a little wizardy, Shimmy came as a scientist who hadn't much sleep for the past few years.. hence the really bad eyebags. HAHA And Elaine came as a vampire. Its such a shame I didn't take pictures! only like these few :( and I look absolutely horrible in them. -.-

SO EXCITING OKAY. Cause we were the second last, last week so we were really demotivated today! and thought we were gonna get eliminated. And by the third obstacle (there are 4), Kalowee and I were the last already. MANA TAHU, !! :D At the last final thingy, we managed to pass first!! :D and like, yeah. When Mr Holmes was like ," Team Sungerbob, you are the first team to arrive.." (something along those lines,.) Kalowee and I started screaming and jumping!! HAHAHAHA. Yeah, after winning today's round of Amazing Race, Kalowee and I headed down to Shahbandar for some trekking. Not before wolfing down some buttermilk buns + a whole bunch of chocolate :P hahahaha. I swear. Food will be the death of us. I've had SO much buttermilk buns this week and cucur keladis, ABCs, mmm bread, KAYA! :) God. The best of the best. A-man and Kenken joined us at Shahbandar. I manged to conquer 9 hills in 1 hour and 15 minutes! Although, that was including like so much time talking :P I think if I didn't talk that much i could have finished everything within an hour! Or less 0=) HAHA. My goal! by end of december, finish 9 hills by 45 minutes!!!! :D

Yah, I'm gonna do some maths and decide if I should dress up for halloween in school tomorrow.. :S

I would put pictures up but I'm very very lazy and just so unmotivated to bluetooth the pictures from the phone to the computer. Apologies :P So here's another full-of-text-post-which-QQdah- will read-selectively. (and I'm sure many of you do. Like read the first few words and then decide if you want to go on reading the whole post :P)

ANYHOO. Orals! it was fine. I had my turn with Najee! (: So we walked hand in hand into the preparation room. It was so nervewrecking though cause out of 18 passages, we get to choose one. And like, we wouldn't know what we would get.. I got a poem!! Blackberry Picking. Quite lucky and quite unlucky. Depends how you see it. Lucky cause it wasn't Hamlet or any of the poems of bog people. and unlucky cause I didn't really read through blackberry picking. So i was a little rusty on it. But yeah. Managed to speak 10 minutes!! :D So accomplishing ok! and then the last 5 minutes were me answering questions. (which failed. HAHA i was so bad at my Q&A section. damn)

So right, Kalowee came over yesterday! It was fun! Main aim was to get through Hamlet and poems. Instead, I whipped up some waffles (from scratch! I made waffles by myself!) and they tasted pretty damn good if I must say so myself :P HAHA *note to self- buy smooth peanut butter* and my mom fried some bananas. And when Kalowee came, we made korean instant noodles and had cake?! And we played the DS (we discovered the chat function. SO COOL OK) and we looked through my magazines and DVD collection and Kalowee took home half of everything :P So yes. One would say yesterday was a very productive day. I.. sorted some feelings out. HAHA WTF and filled my tummy with yummy goodness and played tamagotchi on DS. :) it was all good + the company was awesome. So yeah. Yesterday did not go to waste.

Also, had the best Thien Thien chicken rice EVER in history last night along with DQ ice-cream. The chicken was smooth and Oh-SO-Yummy okay!! my dad ordered half a chicken and i finished half of the plate. I finished a quarter of a whole chicken!! It was that yummy!! The meat was so damn smooth okay. Unbelivable. I also love the vanilla ice-cream cone in DQ. The cone is so yummy!! its like, heaven. T_T I think I'm gonna have one of those every sunday. ^_^ Joy.

Speaking of food, today has been a very fulfilling day as well! Had two bowls of cereal for breakfast, along with yogurt. And lunch! Yam Claypot noodles with roasted pork (oh so good.) + Curry chicken gravy and rice. And for teatime, had some easy way and two roti telur + bawang (Egg roti prata with onions) and a hell lots of curry gravy. Its a craving you see. I'm terribly craving for curry!! I have curry every single day!! Like yesterdays breakfast, I had an awesome bowl of curry chicken Kolo mee. Mmm... And then, I bought Gardenia's Butter bun and buttermilk bun. OMY. Gardenia's buttermilk buns are heaven lah! I completely forgotten how good they tasted like. I was like, stuffing my face silly with all these buns and my mom stared at me quite unbelivable. To quote," what is wrong with you! just had two rotis and now you're having all these buns?!" yeah man. Bring on the buns. BUTTERMILK. I must find out how buttermilk is made so i can make myself a tub full and spread it on bread whenever i want some. I mean, really. HOW IS BUTTERMILK MADE? its obviously not just butter mixed with milk and sugar cause I think that'll turn out really weird. Hmm. Possible TOK topic? haha okay, i think not.

Goodness, my posts are turning into food posts. I'm sorry :( i can't help it though, food is my #1 priority at this stage of my life. Hey! A growing girl needs food okay. I've made sandwiches for lunch tomorrow in school! Although they can hardly be compared to the sandwiches Nick or KenKen or Jacob has. Mine's just wholemeal bread with processed cheddar cheese cut into small squares. -_- Haha. But I like it plain that way. (or someone to make complicated sandwiches for me in the morning :P)

OOH. I went DVD shopping! I've got a whole list but I only bought 5 just now :( cause my mom's expression was like " :0" When she saw my list. So, i'll be buying them in stacks of 5 so i don't spend a lot of money on dvd sekaligus. HAHA wtf. sekaligus. So random. But yeah. This way, I won't look like I'm going crazy on DVDs. Got: Pineapple Express, Step Brothers, A Love Song for Bobby Long, The Edge of Love and Speed Racer today. Speed Racer is for my mom though cause she hasn't watched it yet.

Speaking of speed racer, have you guys watched Rain's new video for Love Song? I was lucky enough to catch it on MTV that day. and omy, Rain is looking mighty fineee. And the beginning of the video where he accidentally poked his eyes with his glasses or when he was covering the scratches on his motorcycle with the marker. His face so mischievious! Very cute okay. Had extra class for maths today. Very unproductive because my brain was in a complete flop today. So i couldn't get much working. Especially not on trig differentiation. Damn depressing okay. :( Went over to MD after school with Kalowee to see Becky in a tudong and baju kurong ;) haha. Couldn't recognise her. It was funny. (i mean the situation, not becky in a tudong). Then Kalowee and I had some CA Mohammad before seperating ways.

Then spent the afternoon with the mother at Giant, grocery shopping :D

Currently, I am trying to con my mother. Or PERSUADE her into buying me a very early birthday present. :) She's not giving into my idea yet. She doesn't mind waiting till April. But I can't wait! T_T I want it now! Eurgh. So frustrating. Even Kenken agrees with me that it is very pretty! hahaha.

Been listening to Orson - No tomorrow and Paramore - Misery Business the whole day. I would like a day that I would be able to use the lyrics to Misery Business. Its so inappropriate for me now cause it wouldn't mean anything. But meh. Its good lyrics that. And I forgot how much I absolutely love No tomorrow! The song's so.. nice :) and happy..

OH. English orals on Monday. Which means I don't have to go to school! Because my session is at 12.40pm and that means, I'd finish by 1.20 so there's really no point in me going back to school. Its good thing I think. I'm so very nervous about the whole orals! I mean, goodness gracious. I. CANNOT. Talk. about.Hamlet. for 15 minutes okay. Like wtf am I suppose to say?! Eurgh. I don't get half of whats going through that guy's head sometime okay. And his language is so difficult to explain! Gah. And the POEMS!! I can talk about them but not for 15 minutes. Eurgh. Kalowee's prolly coming over tomorrow so we can go thru some Hamlet and Poems i think. :(

I AM GONNA DO MY MALAY WORLD LIT NEXT WEEKEND. I will not procrastinate on that. It is not funny man. Its due in a month! and I've got two to non-existant World Lits. Which means i have to conjure up 3,000 malay words that makes sense in 3 weeks!! god give me strength, please. :(

I think this is why my pimples are popping like nobody's business. And Kalowee found a couple of white hairs! its the stress I tell you :P haha and all those unwanted thoughts. Its not that bad yet though. I'm still having my appetite :P heh heh heh.

Speaking of appetite. This week has been a hell of a week in terms of food :) I've been having ice-cream and muffins and nasi briyani and buffets, meat! TOAST WITH CHEESE. Peanut buns, buttermilk buns. Mmm.. buttermilk buns. Yoghurt! and Keropoks and tons of bread and donuts. Pasta! Curry! Dosais and Rotis :) NASI LEMAK! (i had some from that place in Kuilap that sells all sorts of Indonesian Kueh.. their nasi lemak is awesome!!!).. Cake (plenty from bakerlyn!) and sushi. All good that. Remember the craving I couldn't quite figure out what i was. Well, that craving was Ice-cream! and I had two cupfuls of DQ ice-cream. very satisfying. Made me happy. Was craving desperately yesterday for buttermilk bun and the one from Mum's wasn't good cause it wasn't sweet and there were peanuts! So it was a little weird. My dad brought me to Jing Chew this morning for some freshly baked buttermilk buns (mentega) and it was OH-SO-GOOD! Damn. I love fresh buns at 7.45am. :P

Yeah. I better go and remember Seamus Heaney's birthday and birthplace and why the hell is he so into mother nature and those sort of stuff :(

All but Isa is struggling and I spent the whole night finishing up my maths IA last night and came to school in the morning, and handed in my work first thing in the morning only to find out that I do not have enough words in my explanation part.

OKAY. I am very troubled. You know how you get this certain craving but you just seem to put your thumb on what it is you're craving? and you just eat everything you THINK you're craving but.. they just don't satisfy your craving. And it frustrates you like crazy cause you go around eating and eating but you still are not satisfied. YES THIS IS MY SITUATION RIGHT NOW! I know I am craving something sweet from the bakery. Not a donut, or a red bean bun. MIGHT BE BUTTERMILK.. (I have not tried that yet). I've tried red bean, kaya puffs, custard puffs, chocolate eclairs, pandan cake, banana cake. Nothing. None of those made my tummy happy! :( I need to get some buttermilk buns soon or I'll go crazy. I'm not even sure if thats what I'm craving even. It might be pineapple tarts? I'm pretty sure its not. Its not kueh lapis or kueh mor as well cause I had them both yesterday and I'm still craving for something else. Eurgh! So frustrating. I can't concentrate on things for too long cause I keep on thinking what on earth can it be that I'm craving so badly. Gawd. So annoying.

Attending my father's friends open houses tonight. I hope there's some nasi kuning or some nasi briyani of some kind. I'm kinda craving those + good cakes or some good vegetable curry. Mmm.. OR BEEF RENDANG! BUT i still need to find out my sweet tooth craving. Suggestions?? hahahaha. Eurgh.

Okay Back to biology and cell respiration and all.

My english orals in class today was a total flop :( Instead of speaking for the 12 minutes I'm supposed to, I only spoke for 5 minutes and completely died at the Q&A section. I do not know how lenient my friends are but everyone gave me 19,20,21 T_T I would have given myself a 10 out of 30. Lesson learnt: Never to prepare an english commentary (or any languages of any sort) when being under the influence of two kinds of cough medication. -.-

Speaking of cough medication. :( I'm still sick! Its been 11 days and my cough is still ongoing, worsening in fact and my flu is still with me. I went to the doctors yesterday and yeah. I've got new antibiotics and new cough syrups to try but ARGH. SO annoying. I hate it when I cough :( So grr.

Goodness, I just realised I've got so much to finish this weekend. And thats just tomorrow and whats left of today and tonights gone already. Oh my my my my...

AND TODAY WAS INTERNATIONAL DAY! (:

Yeah. I've been pretty excited about today for quite awhile now. First was the process of deciding what I should wear on the day cause 1) I don't have a cheongsam and the only international costume I have is the Baju Kurong and that's so.. unoriginal ish. + Hari Raya's still on and yeah. You get what I mean. So I had this whole long tedious process where I have many sleepless nights. (no lah. totally exaggerrating that) but yeah, on deciding what international/country's costume I could come in. And after thinking for a while I decided on the most obvious one! I swear! if only i thought about it so much earlier. Safe me all those tossing and turning on my bed. But yeah.. Guess which country I decided to dress after? (is this the way the sentence is supposed to be? :S )

INDIA! (: Yeap. I borrowed a pretty purplish blue sari from Khusbooh! (: who was an absolute darling! She's so wonderful okay and her mom too! I went over to her house with Kalowee like last week, and they decided on this pretty purplish-blue number and her mom proceeded to give me a tutorial on how to wear a sari! And I've got the video and everything. And she was so patient and so nice lah! And its not easy mind you, wearing the sari. There's so many steps and like.. Its just not wrap and toss over to shoulder :P But yes, MANY thanks to Khusbooh and her mom! (: Its been a wonderful experience getting to don on the sari and spending half a day in it. And I absolutely love wearing it! its so comfy and the long skirt and yeah, makes me feel so elegant/lady like. Cause i totally tried sitting in my tom-boy fashion and I just couldn't do it. Gah. AND THE PLEATS! oh my goodness. The pleats infront of my sari (you will see in the pictures..) I DID THEM MYSELF. *PROUD* You would be proud too ok. Its NOT easy to do those damn pleats. Took me so freaking long okay. It was so difficult to unpleat them :( all my hard work. HAHA

Okay, that was a long paragraph. Anyway, since Kalowee attended the 'tutorial' with me, it was decided it was the best if she was there when I was getting the sari on. And thank god okay. My eye coordination is the worst ever and since I'm short, there's this whole thing how the sari thing has to be longer than the skirt but the skirt isn't supposed to show my toes -.- and the tail thing should be just past my butt and not too long/too short. But yeah. I went to Kalowee's at 6 this morning and by 6.30 and 3 tries, I still wasn't able to get the sari on properly! We were desperate already by then. But! ALAS! *drama* HAHA Like they always say, fourth time the luckiest (okay, actually no since the chinese believes that 4 is an unlucky number and lahblahblah) But yeah. We did it the 4th time and IT WAS PERFECT! Everything fit into place! Well, my skirt was a little flooby but it got sorted out. :) The length was perfect, MY PLEATS WERE PERFECT! amen to that T_T and yeah :) everything was in place. Then I stuck my bindi (the thing on the forehead)and the body art stickers on my back and wore my bangles (courtesy of the lovely Khusbooh!) and my earrings ( which btw, I am now suffering an itch from wearing :() What about shoes? Well, thats the thing about sari's! You have to wear the shoes before doing anything cause its all about lengths! Yeah. I wore heels. Because Khusbooh told me sari's look nicer on tall people and woe is me because I am short. So thank god for heels even if they were a bitch to be in for like 4 hours running around school -.- But yes :)

Omygad this is getting so wordy. I bet you guys are all rolling your eyes like. GOD AMELIA TYPES SO MUCH CRAP. OKAY SORRY OK. I'm just excited about this thing. hahahah So anyway, we got to school 5 minutes late :) which was just intime for the assembly and like yeah. Kalowee was super fast on the road. haha Road Rage! Yesterday was a complete waste of time. Spent the morning at the doctors, after lunch.. 2 till 6, I slept. Woke up for dinner and shower, 7.30 till this morning 9, I slept.

Heaven I tell you (: and everyone's so friendly and nice and the food is great and the shopping malls/marketplace are just super. Everythings great. The taxi fares are ridiculously cheap and yah. and they have reallly sweet pineapples :0 Haha

Had super duper good steamboat on our last day. Crabs, Kobe Beef, Squid filled with meat, and yeah, the remaning of our soup was made into egg porridge. It was AWESOME.
We had both chicken and tom yam soup base.

Yeah. Thats all I have from my thailand pictures. I have a few others. But they're just vain pictures of myself and my mom. hahahaha. :P We went to Chatuchak market on Saturday morning and it was super fun :D spent 4 hours browsing through all the stalls and eating coconut icecream with sticky rice. OMY STICKY RICE. I LOVE LOVE LOVE MANGO WITH STICKY RICE AND COCONUT CREAM. *love* Okay. My favourite Thai food:
a) Thai Mango with Sticky Rice
b) Thai Chicken Rice (fried Chicken) - THIS IS AWESOME. I have one plate everyday
c) Thai Kolowee (with pork slices) - Ok i'm aware its not called kolomee there. but its quite similar, altho its better.
d) Random Thai Kuih-Muihs - ALL OK. Especially those with corns in them. SO YUMMY?! Whattheeff.
e) Sticky rice in general. ANYTHING with sticky rice. - i.e Durian, Mango, Yam.., Sago.. Mmmmmmm

So right, I came back to Brunei at about 5pm on Sunday. 6.30pm I was in a car with Kalowee, Markus, Christopher and Mark for a raya session at Adam's! :) Reached the place at about 7 ish and everyone was playing with fireworks and stuff. It was good to see some people. Food was good as well, the potato salad everyone raves about. Yeah! As good as they say it is. Hahaha. AND HE HAS 4 super duper cute kittens *love*

You guys know my Ipod 2nd Gen? :) My faithful ipod, 1 gB, been following me around for the past 4 years.. and well, i've finally decided to let it retire.. to rest. Its been a good 4 years, she has been there for me alot.. (haha wtf.)

So, decided to get a new ipod :) The 16gB iPod Nano (4th Gen)
In pinK! :) I was actually deciding between, pink, yellow or purple. But Pink caught my eye the most. Yellow wasn't bright enough and purple was so dark it looked like blue -.- So yeah.

I'm so happy! Now I can have many many songs!

This afternoon, went rayaing with Kalowee and KenKen over to Fauzay's over at Lumut (near KB) -_- We braved the rain during the 1hr car ride. it was fun! Like, we tapao-ed buns for the road trip even though it was only for an hour ish. HAHA Talked to kalowee like brabis. We've not done that in a while. :) Then Kenken followed us back.
Food was goooood. Like, the durian kek lapis *love* and the lamb! I almost finished all the mushroom sauce *paiseh* HAHA
